In your childhood, you see all the greenery around you. You don't feel any worry about anything when you are a kid. So, if the green is the colour of childhood, then pink is the colour of youth. In this stage of life, you see all the pink around you. This is the period when you can see beyond the horizon. Sky is not limit for youth. Your eyesight can see the thing beyond universe if you are young enough.
